Welcome, my name is Alicia Mosher.
I provide natural hoof care and rehabilitation to our equine friends in Shasta and Tehama Counties.
If you are looking to transition your horse out of shoes, hooray for you and your horse! I can help you and your horse to stay active and comfortable.
I provide a non-invasive trim, following the internal structures as my guide, taking into consideration: the living and working environment, conformation, and health and development of the hoof.
Healthy, barefoot rock crunching hooves are grown and forged by the horse. To grow well attached hoof wall horses require a carefully managed diet and regular trimming, To forge healthy hooves the horse must have correct, healthy movement, free from pain (with supportive care as necessary).
Many horses have limited development of the internal structures within the hoof, resulting in a weak foot. Most horses will require supportive care (a boot and padding combination) to help develop the weak areas.
